PRICES, DISCOUNTS, TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Prices, discounts, terms and conditions are those in effect at the time of order and are subject to change without notice.
FREIGHT RESTRICTIONS:
1. Next day & 2nd day shipments apply when order is placed by 3:00 PM Pacific time.
2. Customers should be aware that freight charges are higher for oversized items (i.e. Stands, etc.).
3. If customer chooses to split a shipment, customer will be responsible for freight of both shipments.
4. Freight is F. O. B. from our location.
5. Contact AKS Customer Service for freight cost of motorcycle lifts. These lifts are oversized and ship via truck (Yellow Freight)
TERMS OF PAYMENT: U. S. - All orders are shipped C. O. D. or by credit card unless you have been approved for an open account by AKS. All returned checks are subject to a $20.00 service charge.
International - All orders must be prepaid in US funds. Bank wire transfers will incur a $20.00 bank charge and are part of total amount on invoice. Orders may also be shipped via credit card payment.
CREDIT CARDS: All Visa & MasterCard transactions are subject to a $5.00 bank service charge and American Express is subject to a $10.00 bank service charge.
International customers using a credit card must fax the credit card as well as a picture ID before any shipments will be sent.
BACK ORDERS: AKS does not pay for freight on backorders. AKS does not hold backorders. A customer service representative can tell you what you have on backorder and the availability of that backorder.
SHORTAGE & ERRORS: AKS policy on completeness and accuracy is that customers are to promptly review incoming shipments from AKS, and notify AKS of any shortages or errors within 10 days of the date of the invoice. AKS will correct documented shortages or errors if presented in the 10-day period.
RETURN POLICY; To return an item: Call the AKS returns department before sending a return and obtain a Return Authorization Number. If all qualifications are met, the item will be credited or replaced at the customer's choice. The qualifications are: must be returned within 15 days after the item has been received; must be in restock able / resalable condition; must be returned complete with original part packaging; must arrive with an authorization number visible on original packing slip; all shortages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. All replacements will be sent free ground freight unless customer pays difference for quicker delivery. All returned and refused packages are subject to a 15% restocking fee, freight, C. O. D. fees and bank service charges (if applicable).
DAMAGED GOODS; No damaged parts will be accepted for return unless UPS, Federal Express (Including RPS) or Truck Line and AKS are notified within 24 hours. All cartons, boxes etc. MUST be kept for inspection by UPS, Federal Express (Including RPS) or Truck Line Inspectors.
